This article gets Blast Audit running inside Excel. In AppSource or older onboarding copy, the add-in may still be labeled Copilot Audit.
Who this is for
First-time users
Admins helping a team get started
IT or enablement teammates supporting setup
Before you begin
You need an Excel version that supports Office add-ins
Your organization must allow Office add-ins
Keep your Blast Audit work email ready
How to do it
Start from your company setup flow, Microsoft AppSource, or the dashboard handoff screen. In the dashboard you may see
Get the Excel Add-inorOpen the add-in.In Excel, go to
Insert->Add-insand install Blast Audit. If you only seeCopilot Audit, you are still in the right add-in.Open the add-in so the task pane appears.
Pin the pane if Excel offers that option.
Wait for the sign-in screen. A healthy first screen may still show
Welcome to Copilot Audit!.
Expected result
The add-in opens as a task pane inside Excel
The sign-in flow loads in the pane
Excel stays responsive while the pane remains open
Avoid this
Opening the website but not installing the Excel add-in
Using one email in Excel and a different one for Blast Audit
Assuming an IT policy block is a product bug
If it still doesn't work
If
Insert->Add-insis disabled, ask your Microsoft 365 admin to allow add-insIf sign-in falls back to your browser, that can still be normal
If nothing loads, note your Excel version and exact error before contacting support
