Use Dashboard Exports

The Exports area in the dashboard lets admins queue export jobs and download the finished files later. It works like a job queue, not an instant download screen.

Who this is for

  • Organization owners and admins with dashboard access

  • Teams consuming standard CSV or report outputs from Blast Audit

  • Anyone monitoring whether an export is queued, running, ready, failed, or expired

Before you begin

  • Sign in to the dashboard with an admin or owner account

  • Make sure your account belongs to the right organization

  • Confirm at least one export template is available for your workspace

How to do it

  1. Open the dashboard and go to Exports.

  2. Review Available templates to confirm the export you need already exists.

  3. Click New export.

  4. In Configure export, choose the Template you want.

  5. Optionally fill in Job name (optional) so your team can recognize the file later.

  6. Click Queue export.

  7. After the success message, review the job under Recent jobs.

  8. Wait for the job status to move from Queued or Running to Ready.

  9. Use Download when the job is ready.

Expected result

  • The correct template is chosen the first time

  • Job names are specific enough for teammates to identify later

  • Users check status in Recent jobs instead of refreshing downloads repeatedly

  • Finished files are downloaded before they expire

Avoid this

  • Expecting New export to produce an immediate file

  • Looking for a download link while the job is still Queued or Running

  • Forgetting that exports expire after 30 days

  • Assuming missing templates are a user error. Some workspaces simply do not have a template ready yet.

If it still doesn't work

  • If you see Organization required, confirm you are signed into the right workspace

  • If Available templates is empty, ask your workspace owner or support whether exports are already set up for your team

  • If a job shows Failed, retry after confirming you picked the right template and organization

  • If a job shows Expired, queue it again and download the new result promptly
