Use this article when you want a repeatable Form Extraction test. The attached travel-claim PDFs are intentionally similar, so one template should work across all of them.

Use the attachments for

  • building a reusable extraction template

  • checking whether preview rows stay aligned

  • exporting structured values back into Excel

Attachments to use

How to practice

  1. Download the three PDFs plus expense-results.csv and expected-extraction.csv.

  2. Upload the PDFs from Documents and wait for OCR to finish.

  3. Open Form Extraction and create a template from the first expense claim.

  4. Capture the core fields again on the other two documents and make sure the preview stays aligned.

  5. Export the result into Excel and compare it against expected-extraction.csv.

Expected result

  • One template works across all three documents

  • The preview table stays aligned

  • The exported values match the expected CSV closely

Use this before live work

  • Use this pack before you build your first production extraction template

  • If this pack works and a live form does not, the issue is usually layout variance or OCR quality
